Maki I've seen more than one report of players getting the Mimics as coliseum loot and not just from the chests.
Has anyone seen the Jawlockers drop Mimic Powder? I had someone suggest they might be dropping a different powder item and I can't seem to get them to drop any powder at all.

I'm leveling up a new coli team and I was in Forgotten Caves; wouldn't recommend at all. After 25+ fights, nothing related to micmics appeared/dropped.
Off to Bamboo Forest next!

isosDuke, the Mimics don't show up in every location - only Woodland Path, Scorched Forest, Waterway, Arena, Kelp Beds, and Golem Workshop. Bamboo Forest won't get you anything either, sorry to say.

4 Jawlockers (OUCH!!)

2 Golden Porpoises, 2 Jawlockers
2 Jawlockers, 1 Mammertee, 1 Kelp Tender (OUCH)
1 Maren Scout, 1 Maren Ambusher, 2 Jawlockers
2 Jawlockers, 1 Jeweled Octoflyer
2 Jawlockers, 1 Maren Warrior
I've noticed that the chest drop rate is NOT 100% -- I get about 9 chests per every 10 mimics, and they tend to not-drop during all-Mimic battles. (E.g. if I defeat a mob of 4, I'll get 3 chests most of the time.) It's still pretty darned good, though.
Additionally, not a single one of them has dropped a powder.

Everytime I have any MIMICs in the coli...
at end of fight, it freezes..
Any other enemy it goes through..

Maki my partner scored a Snarling Mimic familiar in the coliseum, but x isn't sure which of the venues it was, as x opened a bunch of chests from various venues at one time, sorry we can't be more helpful than that
in general, I've definitely got the most chests from the Waterway-- the drop rate isn't 100% of course, but I feel like I've encountered more Mimics there than in any other venue, anyone else seen that?
