I always exalted as soon as I've levelled a pair so I don't have to scroll in the team selection menu, but I recently discovered the sort by lowest level option. Now I train everyone first and then exalt all at once.

I generally exalt in batches, but to make it easier on myself I tend to have very few fodder dragons in my lair so I can quickly get them levelled up and sent out.

I exalt in batches. One thing I found very helpful was to level all my permas just a bit (they're mostly at level 3 right now) and then sort the coli party list to see the lowest-level dragons first. That way my fodder dragons are always available at the top!

But seriously I went broke last week because of a high level payment in Earth's foddart. I do exalt sometimes for profit but... the foddart... It's tempting me with so many amazing artists and writers.I don't mind sending them the fodder in exchange for creative works.

I level up every dragon until my den is filled an then mass exalt everyone in one go.
dragons that can't go in the den will be exalted immediately after leveling them
