i'm doing coli right now to do some exalt leveling and something that's always irked me is the fact that f pose mirror doesn't float but she is clearly flying or, arguably, approaching the landing phase of a big jump

is it because the m pose is on the ground so the f pose is subjected to the same parameter?

Whoever designed the coli animations likely just interpreted Mirror F as making contact with the ground while coming down from a pounce.

@Museless i could see that, like i said it definitely looks like an end-action pose.................... but i'm still like "i wanna see her float!!!" [emoji=mirror angry size=1]

Canonically, mirrors don't fly all that much. They're more into runs, sprints, and glides. From the encyclopedia:
Mirrors are one of the few dragon species that prefer to do the bulk of their travel across the surface of the earth rather than over it. They are tireless on the land, running their prey down at sprint speeds of up to 50 miles an hour. These predators are capable of short-duration flights, but will quickly tire and return to earth. This may be due to their metabolism, which is a formidable beast; the average adult Mirror will consume its body weight in prey each month.
The pose is most likely a jump during a sprint, imo.
Edit: oh also, banescales are a breed where the male stands still and the female floats in coli. So mirrors are intended to be still from the devs.

No no, if you look closely you see she is just balancing on her claw tips - pretty badly if I might add. XD
