Any advice to make me enjoy this game more? I've been playing this game for a long time. And no matter how much I forced myself to like it. I just can't
Incredible that I remembered seeing a post like this before a year ago and - yeah that was you dsjfdsf
Bud, it's been a year. If the game is still not doing it for you, there's no shame in hanging up your hat and going elsewhere. I don't think there's going to be some magic solution that you wouldn't have already found over the past 12 months.

you can't force yourself to like something, and that's okay. if you try to force it, you'll probably end up hating it more (from personal experience). if it's just not your thing, then That Is Okay.
Don't try to force yourself to enjoy it! That's what the main problem I think you're having is. My best advice is to take a break from the site for however long you see fit and if you ever wanna come back, you can. If you wanna get on to feed your dragons once every few days, that works too.
My best advice for anything like this really is to not force yourself to enjoy something that's getting boring/draining to do.

I'm going to be honest, if you're still not enjoying the game after a year of playing and saying you're going to quit previously, then putting more into this site isn't going to do anything for you.
I don't think there's any advice I can give, other than cut your losses and look somewhere else. This game just doesn't seem hit right for you and that's fine.

I definitely agree with everyone else here, but if you really really want to try to enjoy something, ask yourself what you want from it. What would your ideal be like and how would it accomplish your goal?

yeah like what everyone else said. dont play the game if you dont like it. there's a billion and one virtual pet sites that might suit your fancy more
any and every idea that someone here could give you wont change your opinion on it if you have made a post like this in the past
also. just under a year isnt.... a super long time tbch LOL but i understand your dislike of the site. the wait times can be vaguely annoying

Not disagreeing with everyone else here, that you should walk away, but I will say:
1. Maybe you'll enjoy if more if you take a break and come back? You don't have to give it up Forever if you give it up!
2. You could also try to change your playstyle to cut out the grindy parts or try to add/remove challenge. Stop doing GnG or coli if those bore you, or try a challenge like the -locke ones to add more spice to the boring parts!

the bonus of just leaving this site is that all your dragons just sit in stasis and dont risk vanishing from your account. Theyre just in a time capsule, here for when you return, if you choose to in the future.
There is very little drawback to outright leaving so if the game isn't working for you, just do it.

I agree with the others, but, I think it's worth thinking about this, too- you're not having fun, but you've stayed for a year. Why? Genuine question- there's probably a reason, yeah? Maybe it's that you have a friend you like chatting about it with, or something community-related?
If you do want to stick around despite everything, maybe it'd be worth focusing on that part you enjoy and just... not bother with the rest. Work on your HibDen so you don't have any food upkeep, and then... yeah, just let it sit.
