I'm used to seeing it at 5k and 4k users, sometimes 3k at some later hours.
Recently, it's been at 6k and I've gotten used to that.
And now it's reached 7k
I don't know if that recently happened or if it's been like that for a day or two, but that's the highest I've ever seen it and I'm surprised.
I do expect it to go back down but it's kind of weird to see.
Oh yeah, 7k is a little weird when Springswarm quite literally just ended. Not much going on. It's usually nothing though, this happens and a thread pops up about it every now and then which amounts to not very much at all besides vague wondering.

It's currently at 1471 players vs 5973 guests too, so most of it isn't even people playing the game (could be a lot of bots that are responsible for other website stuff, pretty sure search engines get their result with bots like that, web crawlers)

Guest users can also just be invisible accounts that are actively playing, and Flight Rising is getting more popular, so more people would actively play even without something going on. Even if it's just dailies like familiar bonding or fairgrounds playing.
Bots could be some of it, but not by much.

It's March break here, so I assume some of the activity may be related to that.

When I started, the total was usually around... 4,000 or a lil' under???

Yeah the number is pretty big and suprising. I do get the large number of guests being the people set on invisible, but it's still shocking to have 7k people on at once.

Yeah, listing invisible accounts as guests is a little misleading for trying to understand the numbers.

Yesterday there was over 8k. I was stunned!
