so i really wish that they could have gone with the other drawing of a mirror hatchling as seen in this post from undel's deviantart, it's just so cute to me. don't get me wrong the current image is also cute and i really want a dozen permababy mirrors but i really prefer the other artwork. also because mirrors originally had two pairs of arms, wings, and two tails i wish they could of had some subtle form of double appendages. i know modern breeds can't have any less or more limbs than the standard but i think nothing too crazy would work. mirrors would look sick if they had a tail sorta like espeon's from pokemon, where it splits at the end but isn't exactly two tails.

i'd like to hear of any removed, unused, or cancelled things in flight rising you wish were in the game, or if you don't have anything, things that you're glad didn't make it. i wasn't there for when egg rot was a thing but i'm so glad it was removed when i first heard of it

Staff are so afraid of having what happened with 2013-2014 festival items happen again that now, pretty much everything is equally worthless, and the events are not as fun anymore.
Like, why would I take part in elemental festivals if I am just gonna get the items dropped in my lap from Joxar. Or can buy them for 30G pretty much anytime. Yes, FOMO is bad, but festivals need to have something interesting happen.

If instead of a time limit we had a button to terminate a nest whenever we want, i'd be down to agree! I've seen a few occasions where players have accidentely bred the wrong dragons. My heart goes out to the gen1 collectors who have had this happen. [emoji=aether sad size=2]
As for what i wish was kept - Scroll of Divorce! However with some tweaks - that scroll alongside another scroll that lets you bond/marry two dragons together so they cannot breed with other dragons. Given i - and many other players too - have breeding pairs and non breeders, this would be a massive aid!

funny anecdote from my life: since baldwin's spot was empty for so long, when i first joined i though that's where joxar appeared and was confused during my first festival that it was still empty [emoji=skydancer laughing size=1] pretty sure he used to have his own "festive favors" section in the sidebar instead where grand exchange is now, but i don't remember.
speaking of festivals, i'm going to have to second the retiring items point despite the rude meme that's been thrown its way. festival items used to feel really special, but now that they're permanently available they've lost a lot of their excitement [emoji=skydancer sad size=1]

I don't exactly wish they were kept because objectively the current way is better but I do fr miss registration windows. Specifically I miss the sense of community and camaraderie during them, with everyone working together to welcome newbies and pass out free dragons, food, advice, etc. It was kind of like Welcome Week at universities. Maybe rather than bring back restricting registration times we could all just be super duper nice to newbies once a month? :D
