You want to stock up balwin materials of certain colors to cook at baldwin more chests while you grind chests. And you'll be able exchange grindable coli materials at Higgins Haunted Hollows for again, more chests. More chest — more egg
Then you can sit on the eggs until the prices drop.

Night of the Nocturne (or NoTN) is an annual site event that takes place in December instead of a flight festival.
In a nutshell, basically site activities have a chance to drop Strange Chests, which can be opened for a plethora of goodies, including Apparel, Familiars, Nocturne Breed Scrolls and of course, the coveted, Unhatched Nocturne Egg.
Its arguably the most anticipated event of the year, as many players grind out chests in Coli as every venue has NoTN monsters added during the event which may drop chests, so its an excellent opportunity to make currency, and/or stash away eggs for the year ahead :3

this successor to the old Prepare and Survive guide will be quite helpful for choosing what to focus on. They've got all the Baldwin recipes laid out, so if you see stuff you want to make, you can prep materials in advance!
