I tend to glance through the bio, and if I see it I use it. If a dragon is explicitly trans, I will put the pronouns in their broadcast for visibility, but I tend not to care too much if someone misgenders my dragon.

I almost never read a dragon's bio, broadcast message, or even name. I'm trans myself so I absolutely understand the importance of respecting pronouns, but in this case, I really think it's best to just assume good intent and move on.
I'm trans too and I 100% get that it's upsetting when it happens regularly, especially to silhouette-scrolled dragons who are easy to read as trans. I don't think it's silly or too sensitive or anything to be annoyed, hurt, or overthink it when it happens.
One of the reasons I've been putting pronouns in broadcast messages even though I'd really prefer to use the space for a short quotation is because that seems to help here. I wish FR had a dedicated "pronoun" space that we could fill in for our dragons! I always check bios for pronouns when I'm commenting on a dragon and I do consider it a common courtesy to do the same, but I know that in most cases mistakes are made with no malice at all.

sometimes i've used they/them in the message talking about my dragons and they still get misgendered. like i admit its on me when i don't use a single pronoun even though the notice is in my profile but i don't understand how it gets skipped over in a forum post??

If I don't click on a dragon I'll have no way of noticing their pronouns and will go 100% based on the pose. If I do click on the dragon and I see they have specified pronouns I will use them if I notice them. If there is any scrolling involved to find info regarding pretty much anything, chances are I won't see it. For dragon sharing games, I don't think I have ever checked someone's clan profile or a dragon bio, if I am being honest.
In all likelihood it isn't malicious, a lot of people don't even use the silhouette swap feature (myself included) so I often forget it exists. I so rarely come across a dragon whose pronouns do not match its pose that it's just not on my mind at all. I know it's not the case for everyone, but in my lair, each dragon's pronouns match their pose and has not been altered.
It's not intentional in most cases I'd say. But if there's no need to click on the dragon it makes sense to use the pose for the pronouns since that's the easy default, if that makes sense.

Speaking personally, virtually all my dragons are the same gender as their pose, and if that's not the case or if the situation is ambiguous (silhouette scroll) I put their pronouns in their broadcast.
I don't intend to misgender anyone's dragon, but I generally do not scroll down to read bios (especially if I'm just appreciating a dragon's aesthetic) and I sometimes default to referring to a dragon based on their pose. Apologies to anyone whose dragon I messed up in that way, it was 100% not malicious!
I have one weird situation in my own clan where I have a f-pose female-identifying dragon named Jeremiah (I just like the name). But then I thought "if I post in topics 'here is my dragon Jeremiah' are people going to naturally use masc pronouns" which I do not mind myself, but I don't want to make other people feel awkward for misgendering my dragon. So I just canonically made her pronouns she/any.

I tend not to check bios of dragons no; if they look really interesting then maybe but unless the poster specifies a gender I go by pose.

It's most likely not malicious, but even if it was I still wouldn't lose any sleep over my fake pixel dragons getting misgendered.

It's not really about the set of pixels getting misgendered, though. I get where you're coming from and I can see how it can seem like a silly thing to get upset about, but for me and some other trans people, it can hit well too close to home. FR is a fun place to come to set aside real-world worries and stressors, and when things like this happen repeatedly, seem intentional or targeted, or just come at a bad time, it can really sting. It's important to me to be able to set my dragons' pronouns and have FR as a fun sandbox to play with giving dragons pronouns that don't match their mechanical sex (for lack of a better term) without worrying about the very real issues related to gender identity and presentation we have to deal with every day in real life, and I know I'm not the only one who cares about being able to do that here.

Most of my dragons get gendered properly, most of the time anyway. I have one trans dragon who I bought a silhouette scroll for specifically because he kept getting misgendered, even with pronouns in bio, and even though most of my other trans dragons don't have that problem?
As for me, I check bio and default to avoiding pronouns entirely if they're not listed ("That's a great bab you've got there! I love the way you layered the apparel!"). I forget about broadcast messages most of the time and don't use them myself, so I honestly might miss pronouns if they're only listed in the broadcast.
