If you need me, I'll be calling a necromancer to revive me. I died of cuteness overload [emoji=auraboa star size=1]
In all seriousness - this is a fantastic update to the previous story. Huge thanks to the FR team for taking the time to revise this and digging deeper on the interactions between the Auraboas and modern dragons.

Oh my goodness I'm totally with you. What a sweet story <3 <3
Huge props to the staff for the rewrite! I super loved the more in depth exploration of the loop in particular :D

Yeah this version really gives the Auras a much needed identity, as a bonus on top of removing the problematic aspects!

I read it as soon as I saw it. Auraboas are my favourite ancient, and I loved their lore concept when it came out. Obviously, I understand and support it being reworked when people pointed out some of the potential issues, so I was a little nervous.
Very glad to see the Loop and the whole Star Trek DS9 Prophet-style non linear time aspect is still there, and expanded on in a nice way. I enjoyed the interactions and Auraboa talking style. I enjoyed reading it a lot in general.
Now I am inspired to actually flesh out my auraboa collection in terms of their lore...

My Nature rep, a Wildclaw, is named Aster. I have Feelings
But seriously this is written so much better! It gives me a lot of ideas on writing for my own Auraboas.

read thru it, like it.
i'm most interested in the implication the whole of sornieth is going [emoji=normal eyes size=1] at the events of the first seed (and nature and plague's followup). plus the (probably unintended) concept that a whole generation of auras are going to grow up with parental issues caused by the overlap of the nuclear family with the loop. not that i'm looking into that as a negative, i think it's ripe with plot potential and personal lore hooks if anyone wanted to build off of it, haha.

GOD I need to properly get back to writing my own lore at some point; the concept of younger Auraboas being able to perceive time both "normally" and through the Loop is fascinating.
Also I know we just got this update, but I'm really looking forward to an eventual Dusthide story! I think it's really good that staff is taking more time + outside advice to work on lore, but the increased quality has just gotten me all the more excited![emoji=auraboa winking size=1]
