Honestly a great additon. A lot of the familiars we get, especially in the latter half of FRs existence have seemed like we only really get extensions to the beastclan pools or get new concepts entirely. Only occasionaly do we get expansions to other existing fam pools.
Psywurms are some of the oldest fams on site and only the pair has existed, so I love seeing them go back and revist old concepts and adding more.
I just think they're neat. Look at them fuzzy noodles.

Psywurm

Psywurms love a good book. Usually preferring to nap on the one you're trying to read. (KS-Sponsored by Mythka.)

Brilliant Psywurm
Familiar
Naturally gifted with a photographic memory and a phosphorescent mane. (KS-Sponsored by Mythka.)

Obsidian Blade Psywurm
Familiar
Shards of obsidian too thin to be useful in traditional weaponry make excellent ammunition for a motivated Psywurm.

i love them! i'm a sucker for a good noodle and third eyes -- though i think these only have one, cyclopean eye, but it gives the same idea to me -- 10/10 will try to pet around the stabbies.

@Argante
Nope they have eyes! They're just closed. Like cute kitty cats.
The interesting thing here, imo, is that Psywurms were originally KS-sponsored. Makes me wonder if the original backer signed over the design fully, or if there was some level of agreement reached? Either way, the new fams are neat ^-^

I was also so excited to see psywurms return! The first fam I fell in love with when I started the game were the psywurms so that there are after 10 years now new ones is really exciting to me!

Store it between your favorite mammertee and deity.
nearly 10 years on site and i've only just realized the part above their backs is connected to their tail and isn't just floating there.

...when this makes you realize that the originals, do in fact have tiny beady eyes as well o_o I thought they were completely eyeless and just had polished pebbles on their head--this changes my entire perception of them what

Yep! Wittle eye. The art is just small so it's hard to see.

I imagine neither; like the Skyfdancers even tho they are KS sponsered the artistic property still belongs to FR
Also Im shook to find all this time that they have eyes....I've been here 9+ years

ohh this makes me like them way better...originally I was visually interpreting it as "side view with only one eye visible, but the visible eye is too large and also weirdly positioned"
but it makes total sense as a third forehead eye!
