How are they skinny? Like they definitely aren't thick rip hope for blubber but skinny?

I think they're cute, and as a modern breed they're a fun addition. But they do kinda feel like an Undertide mixed with a Fae in my opinion.
I would be more upset if they were an ancient as it wouldn't be breaking the mold of four legs and wings. But as a modern breed? They're not bad.

Seeing their full art, I really like them! Merrigan and the small Fathoms we saw in the Odyssey made me nervous since I didn't love the look, but now I'm very happy! The hatchling pose is adorable, and I love how they're a Coli breed (with bonus drops from Tomo and Pinkerton)!

They do a nice job of being distinctly water-y and I appreciate that. I wish their necks were a bit thicker, mostly on the m pose, but the poses are both pretty nice (<-- I say both bc the hatchling pose has been completely glossed over in my mind. Too busy going yaaay they can wear hats) still I think.
