Honestly I didn't hate it, but for me it feels kinda incomplete? I don't know how to explain, like something is missing still, it feels so small in comparison to the other genes we got so far, none are what I expected to be honest, but I grew to like them... I hope it happens with Riot as well :(

To me it's the best fest gene so far. I love that it's not another aura/shiny type of gene and that it has accent colors.

I think its pretty good, Wish it had a bit more like the other ones which cover a lot more.
I know the primal makes some people uncomfy so just the small dots is probably fine, But if it had the primal bits I think it'd be nice for the people who do like it... Cause right now feels a tad bit empty. just adding something more would do a lot for it.
I made a small and quick edit of what it might look like with extra primal parts on it.

I was mostly surprised, but honestly slightly disappointed. I've adored all the other fest genes but I just feel this one doesn't exactly hit the target? I can see it looking great in a lot of projects, and the gene itself is nice looking, but it doesn't give off that distinct plague vibe that all the other genes have.
I'd give my thanks to those who appreciate the gene, but my view seems to be the most common one amongst everyone here. The apparel, though, is super cool! I can see that making it's way on to multiple of my projects.

It wasn't what I was expecting, and the name inconsistency does bother me a bit.
However, I don't hate it. It's giving off the same impression as the Brightshine gene, where at first I was like "ehhh", but I grow to appreciate it in its own funky way. It gives off "Flayed skin/flesh and bone", which isn't seen that much when you think of Plague, since people tend to think of veins, pustules, mucous, etc. Also, though I may be completely wrong here and that's fine, I think the devs may have wanted avoid making a gene that shouts "Trypophobia", since I know some people really dislike Plague Primal for that reason.

Great in theory, kinda meh in execution. It had a lot of potential, but the placement is just kinda... Not great. I WANT to like it, but as it stands, it's kinda mid at best

I actually like the gene. Maybe it does not feel too fitting for what it is supposed to be but overall it is a very cool gene.

Honestly, I like it more than a lot of the other festival genes so far. The aura ones are cool conceptually but to me they just feel like they take up a lot of space without adding to the dragon itself as a gene (and I feel like they just don't consistently work in a lot of colors), so I like that these are actually adding something to the dragons instead. I know it's not really "plague-y" like people wanted, but as someone who isn't a big fan of the plague aesthetic, I'm glad the gene is cool spiky frills instead.
I still probably won't ever use it, since I have very few ancients in general and I'd rather stick to getting them genes I can get year-round (and genes I like more in general), but I can't deny that it looks cool on [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/28438758]her[/url]... (although I'll probably just keep Scales on her since I already invested the time and money into that...)
