The highest ID (as of posting this) is currently 88798608, so we still have 90,280 dragons to go before 8x8. Dragon 88708328 whose ID is exactly 90,280 earlier was hatched 3 days ago - so I personally find it sorta unlikely that 8x8 will hatch today or even tomorrow, even if hatching does speed up somewhat. It'll probably tomorrow at the earliest, though several predictions I've seen/done suggest it might be closer to the 4th or even 5th ^^
HOWEVER I don't have a lot of experience with these sorts of things, these are just very rough predictions - once IDs hit 888[+], which will be very soon, people will probably start hatching a bit more, so maybe I'm wrong and it will indeed be today! :DI hope not since I'm gonna have to log off for the night soon LOL, but I digress. x'D
