TOPIC | Are Sandsurge Dragons Flightless?!
I recently turned my Lightning Generation 1 Dragon Katrina into a Sandsurge and saw she has no wings. Did I make my baby flightless forever?
Sandsurges have large webbed fans down their backs instead of wings. I imagine they can potentially glide if they leap from a sufficient height, but otherwise they are a flightless breed. According to their encyclopedia page they burrow and spring an ambush rather than fight out in the open, so that they're not an easy target for "larger flighted breeds".

Their encyclopedia page says they don't have wings, and personally I took that to mean they don't fly.

Yeah, they probably only glide.

I'm sure they can fly if they're in Wind Flight/Territory. iirc even Snappers can fly if they're Wind, so I assume the Crescendo is so strong that anyone can take off if they'd like to.
That is, assuming they want to fly. They probably like the ground too much to take to soaring around.
