here's what i made, honestly i think all eye types are good [besides ice unusual is disgusting fight me]

doing the tiermaker would take me like 2 hours since I way overthink, but in general:
specific favorites: shadow primal, nature unusual, fire rare, water rare, water unusual
love: earth, plague, goat, facet
dislike: all glowing, water common, water primal
why water eyes gotta be so polarizing to me... the common eyes were the reason I didn't pick water for flight :(
ice and light are good overall but overrated imo.
facet looks best with wind and ice. multigaze and dark scelera look best with plague.

I don't really dislike any of the colors, but I do have an obvious preference toward pastels and faceted eyes + red eyes are so good. All flights at least have 1 eye type that I enjoy. I also really like the idea of multigaze but I just... don't vibe with how it currently works. To me they don't really look like they're part of the dragon and that takes away from my enjoyment of them.
Looking at some of my choices now, some of it doesn't make sense but, uh, yeah there's totally solid logic as to why 2 fire eyes that look pretty much identical are in two different tiers.

not even going to bother doing this, this person's list is nearly exactly what mine would look like
some changed with specific colours, but almost all of the primal ratings, the glowing ratings, the innocents being almost at the bottom, and the last three being exactly where they are are all perfect!!
(also most of the colours that look ugly on spiral babies look fine on adults, so eh)

I don't like Swirl eyes or Innocent eyes, and my personal aesthetic doesn't often mesh well with Nature, Water, or Shadow. From the looks of things, though, there are plenty of people who would pick up these babies, so they still get love!
