my original thought was that it could the the dragon we see representing the gem store, but i might be wrong about that. it could be about as rare as any NPC on here! (like Tomo and such)

so, you guys gotta help me out! for ol' fun times sake, wats the rarest dragon on here, who knows - i might give ~100 gems to someone who legitimately finds/has the rarest dragon!

edit: the most common answer is Fringe (hopefully i remembered the name correctly) the imperial, so i have given 100 gems to the first person to give that answer. don't be discouraged to send your idea of the rarest dragon, though! it's been very fun seeing all these og dragons!!

As far as I am aware, the rarest/most sought after dragon on the site is a G1 2 digit (#12) Imperial by the name of Firage, owned by Akiri. It's basically priceless at this point.

I would argue the new NPC dragons released by Rounsey during the Dustcarve Dig would be pretty up there.

This can depend on a lot of factors.

Cool IDs like dragon 69696969 was sought after for the meme number or because it looks nice/cool (i.e. dragon 666 as well) and while you can change a dragon's colors and genes, you can't change an ID.

However, price to rarity... I'd say a Firage. He's a gen 1 Imperial with ID 12.
That's the lowest ID a dragon can have on site + he's a gen 1 + an imperial, which you can't get a scroll for unless someone sells for an insane price since they were a kickstarter reward.

A more obtainable rare dragon would be a non-progen (since they can't leave accounts) low digit gen 1 that either was scattered as an XXX (even better if it's obsidian) or already is one with all gem genes and matching eyes + unbred.
Probably doesn't exist.

@Insidiously I never said impossible though? Plus I wouldn't count a hacked dragon as rare due to how they were brought into the game. As for the WC, yeah rare but again, theoretically, not the rarest since as far as I've heard violet isn't overly popular and he's a 7 digit. Lux (#663) in my opinion is the 'rarest' dragon on this site as it is the only trade-able 3-digit G1 imperial. I don't consider progenitors (any 2-digit G1 imperials) rare since they can't be traded; they inherently have no value/worth.
