'Richest' and 'wealthy' are both terms that can be interpreted in different ways, so we'll just stick to gems and treasure here. We don't want to be taking all day to figure out someone's net worth, do we? Okay, maybe I'll try that sometime.
I was originally gonna do a competition or something but my new idea, after learning about how rich some people actually are and why they wouldn't want to come here (thanks to Division), is to change my question to Who is the richest broke Flight Rising user?
If there are any actually rich people here, feel free to pretend to be broke.
Here, I'll list my riches below as a baseline. They won't count, though.

Pretty sure the richest users have something like 2mil+ gems. And obviously they have a lot of wealth that's not held in treasure or gems, but in stuff like Sprites, rare apparel, hoard items, G1s and other rare dragons, etc. It would be extremely hard to calculate how rich most users actually are.
Most wealthy players probably won't participate in something like this. It draws negative attention and (ime from other petsites) you get lots of begging messages from players who just want free stuff.
Right now I'm broke compared to your average rich FR player. I've been slacking off on exalting and G&G for months. I only have 4mil treasure and 13k gems in my vault. And I don't have a lot of expensive items or dragons.
