hi! yes, it's going to be one of [i]those[/i] posts, but there were very few threads similar to what I'm asking (about plague) in the last three years, so,, I'm on a quest to see every flight except shadow, and I'm gearing up for my fifth move. ([emoji=wind rune size=1]>[emoji=ice rune size=1]>[emoji=light rune size=1]>[emoji=water rune size=1]>?) I'm between earth and plague, but I already have a sense of what earth is like. Nobody has to answer all of these!! I'm just curious! ----- 1. What's plague's community like? 2. What sets it apart from other flights apart from the aesthetic? Does the community have special stuff in it? (For example, Wind's houses, Water's focus on subspecies, etc.)? 3. Does it skew younger or older? 4. Do you think you get blocked more often for having a plague aesthetic, if you follow that? 5. Is the Discord slow or fast? 6. How's the organization of dom? Can you pick up fodder on a spreadsheet, or do you have to tag people in a dom Discord channel / onsite? Or another system? 7. Would you say it's cliquey or sparse or... something else, maybe? 8. How do you feel about all the plague apparel stuff? Do you think it'll be a bit better in the future? (Red's my favorite color-- although you wouldn't be able to tell from my lair-- so it's important to me!) 9. Are there a lot of artists? 10. If you're answering, have you ever moved flights and if so, how many times? What flights?

My answers may be null since it's been a few years since I was last in Plague, but I'm sure it's just the same if not better than before, who knows!

1.) Very warm and welcoming! The community was super kind when I joined back then. Along with the edgy cool stuff that is, well, Plague, the community is amazing. And from what I can recall, everyone is a bunch of dorks with a fascination for bones and/or gross stuff. I mean this in a good way. c:

2.) Something about weenies(?). That was a thing when I was there apparently. :v

3.) Hmmm...I can't answer this one well, I would say maybe older teen/young adult? I could be very wrong though. It's probably different now.

4.) Never had to deal with anything like that before, so, no? I never paid attention surrounding that.

8.) I love it. As long as it's red. Never been too hot on the green accent tho. So..that one year's apparel was..eh (still a cool item, but I was bummed it wasn't red lol).

10.) Yep! I have moved 3 times. Arcane, my home flight, to Plague. Then Plague to Water, and then Water to Earth. I have been in Earth longer than I have been in Arcane and it's now tied into my lore that my clan is nestled in-between Earth and Arcane territory, on a floating rock with a huge cave system within it. Will I ever move flights again? I want to! I'd like to explore other places but the dom discounts that come with Earth have kept me here longer than expected.

I'm also ex-Plague of a few years, so I can't add much more than Sinnabelle, but -

2) Vulture culture and exotic pets! Lots of people into collecting feathers and bones and the like, loads of cool lizards and snakes.

3) Pretty middling - lots of early 20s and late teens if I remember right. Older than Wind, younger than Earth

9) There were plenty when I was there!

10) I started out in Plague (2013-2017) then moved to Wind (2017-2018) then landed in Earth, where I expect to stay (2018 onwards)

1) Friendly and warm! Especially to in-flight members. There’s a real sense of camaraderie in Plague, I feel, after everything that’s happened.

2) I didn’t know that about Wind and Water so I wouldn’t be able to tell you. Maybe all of our flight programs? There are quite a lot.

3) Not something I’ve noticed, I’m rarely aware of people’s ages here, buuut I haven’t really seen anyone acting immature or childish. I’d say it skews a little older?

4) To be quite honest, even back when I had a stronger Plague aesthetic to my lair, I was never social enough to find out I was blocked. I have no clue if I’ve ever been blocked to this day.

5) Pretty fast? Gets lightning fast during dom. I don’t peruse the general channel as much but there’s always a conversation going on in there.

6) Our dom primarily works on spreadsheets, though for things like fodder distribution there are people that do that in the discord as well. Someone who’s more involved in dom might be able to answer this better.

7) Uh, no? In my experience everyone’s been super welcoming and inclusive. You don’t have to worry about being cool enough or whatever to join different spaces in Plague.

8) Oh god. Wish you could see the discussions in our flight forums about Plague and how it’s handled with items/lore/fests/ect - in short, there’s quite a few of us that are extremely disappointed. I’m personally not sure if it’ll get better at this point. This question is a can of worms, imo better asked in-flight lol

9) Yes! I’m one myself! Much easier to find us in the art channel on our discord.

10) Nope! I joined FR in Plague back in 2016 and this is where I’m staying :)

Been in Plague now for like a year and a bit, so i will add my bit to it.

1. What's plague's community like?
Plague is a warm, welcoming and honestly very joking community, memes are a must and anybody in need gets the help they want and even more.
I know no mean plague member, we are all friendly despite our looks and take Dom seriously!

2. What sets it apart from other flights apart from the aesthetic? Does the community have special stuff in it? (For example, Wind's houses, Water's focus on subspecies, etc.)?
Vulture Culture, excotic pets, memes, our inspiring view on life and our dedication to Plagmom and the 88V emote (we got a very lovely Discord Bot regarding that)


3. Does it skew younger or older?
I would say older, many young adults and up in the community.

4. Do you think you get blocked more often for having a plague aesthetic, if you follow that?
Yes, especially when having an Avatar featuring our Primal, people really get wierded out by that.

5. Is the Discord slow or fast?
Its a middle ground, you got typical high traffic hours and slower ones depending on the timezone, but you will ALWAYS find someone to chat!

6. How's the organization of dom? Can you pick up fodder on a spreadsheet, or do you have to tag people in a dom Discord channel / onsite? Or another system?
Spreadsheets all the way!

7. Would you say it's cliquey or sparse or... something else, maybe?
Everyone is welcome to join! We dont like anybody feeling left out!

8. How do you feel about all the plague apparel stuff? Do you think it'll be a bit better in the future? (Red's my favorite color-- although you wouldn't be able to tell from my lair-- so it's important to me!)

I really love all pieces, besides the Bard one, but i always got hope the Dev Team turns around and presents us something the community likes more, i honestly cant wait to see our Plague Charm!! :0

But yeah, many are dissapointed in the recent apparel and skin collections, especially the last RoR fest where mushrooms where the main theme, it didnt sit well with many because there was a serious lack in variety and i see that too.

9. Are there a lot of artists?
A TON, you will find no shortage of artist and they all got incredible ranges of artstyle, check out our foddart threads in the last Dom Watches for a quick look! (I really adore our bone pillar, so beautiful! )

10. If you're answering, have you ever moved flights and if so, how many times? What flights?
I started our in Ice and moved to Plague after 7 (!!!) years, it was just a vacation at first but i think i found my new home, but Ice will always have a very important spot in my heart <3

Currently a germ, and lemme tell ya it's a Lot!

Since the discord server is In Flight only, there's a strong sense of community. Family, even. We love our mother and we love her soup. And as far as I can tell it's one of the most active Flight servers!

There's a Pretty Heavy dom culture; hell we're constantly planning for the next push. It can be a bit overwhelming after awhile though, I'm looking to take a vacation from it actually ^^"

Obviously some times are slower than others though, as with everything. Timezones, lol. [b]6. How's the organization of dom? It's pretty easy to use and figure out but you can always ask for help in the discord and you'll get 2 or 5 people clamoring to help out, depending on the day lol. [b]7. I generally disagree with how.. opinionated, some people can be about it. [b]9. Are there a lot of artists?[/b] Theres a whole art channel in the discord thats constantly being posted to every day!
