Yeah, that happens sometimes. We don't know how, but there are a few dragons that legally don't exist.
Now I kinda wanna know how many there are...

I actually found out a while back. Going to recheck the 8 digits and see if anymore have gone missing.
Total: 9,245
1 + 2 digits - None missing
3 digits - 1 missing
4 digits - 2 missing
5 digits - 2 missing
6 digits - 2,241 missing
7 digits - 2,444 missing
8 digits - 4,555 missing
Edit:
Okay I checked my work over four times or so and the results I got this time are
slightly concerning. There are even
more missing dragons then last time- no, not just eight digits either. I'm pretty positive I didn't mess up my data from the last time I did this, as I calculated the total separately from finding missing dragons in different # digits, so it would've been really noticeable if I had messed up last time.
Total: 13,415 dragons missing (+4,170 from last time)
1 + 2 digits: None missing
3 digits: 1 missing
4 digits: 2 missing
5 digits: 12 missing (+10)
6 digits: 2,268 missing (+27)
7 digits: 2,517 missing (+73)
8 digits: 8,615 missing (+4,060)
Going to keep an eye on this for a while and see if there's any change in these numbers in the off chance I did mess up the original measurements.
The original explanation for missing dragons was due to site lag when they hatched and so on, but what in the world just causes them to vanish in thin air?
