I've never written clan lore before but I'm interested in developing lore for my dragon clan. I'm curious to know how other people have written lore for their clans and what do people like to include in lore.
My main source of inspiration for my lore comes from Dungeons and Dragons, and my clan is just a big Adventurer's Guild. So I assign all my dragons a DnD class, give them an ability, weapon and even a unique Guild Card ID number etc.
And to prevent myself from getting overwhelmed or stuck, I don't give myself rules on what I write on dragons bio. Sometimes the bio is just dragons past, sometimes gives random info, and other times it mostly describes just their personality. And I just include things that I like and I don't really care if other people find it interesting or not.

I struggled with this for a while, and I literally own a lore commission shop. [emoji=gaoler scared size=1]
What really helped me was taking prompts! There's this excellent little thread in Creative Corner that pings you with a new writing prompt every day. And every day, I try to write for the prompt with one of my dragons, no matter what it is! If I like what I write enough, I'll incorporate it into my canon. If I don't, hey, there's always tomorrow!

I just developed it overtime, from 'lol what is lore' to 'oh yeah then the children disappear because of mind-controlled babysitters.'
i just sorta took experiences in-game and turned it into lore while adding some extra spice for conflict
such as:
"Alright, we're moving to Wind because Ice is too cold. Also we're all gonna die soon."
*Abyssal screams, for he does not know*
I scream, for I do not know how to write 1 character's lore
And then I threw a villain who can mind-control dragons because.. Because why not.

I have usually started with small ideas, perhaps just on individual dragons, and then over time built them up to a bigger picture of how it all fits together! For example, if I have a few dragons that fit really well together aesthetically, I might put them in their own lore faction and then build that faction up slowly.
My lore is pretty simple, just a normal town of normal dragons doing normal dragon things. I enjoy thinking about the simple day - to - day life of dragon civilization.

I cover three things in each of my individual dragon’s lore
1) What’s in their past? How did the end up here, in my clan?
2) What role(s) do they fill in my clan? How good are they at their job?
3) What kind of personality do they have? What are their relationships with other dragons like?
imo, if you can figure out those three things you’ll probably end up with some inspiration for more developed lore and ideas that you can write about. Don’t have any ideas? Use a random backstory generator like this one.

I haven't written very much down yet for my own lore in FR, but it's all in my notes. Here's a quick summary.
Trova is a moon finder, and each moon finder happens to have their own planet. Trova happens to be a member a larger planet called Zepi. This planet has many others like Trova, all being moon finders. Zepi gives each moon finder their own planet so they can keep their moons. This planet that Trova keeps is called Tealiza. On Tealiza, dragons from Sorneith and various other planets happen to appear on the planet, and when they get their they usually forget their identity or remember very little of their past on Sorneith. Eventually, Trova finds moon keepers to take care of their respected moon. As Trova is finding moon keepers, the first dragon that appeared on Tealiza is forming a society. The society is called the Bliss Mastersuite. A mastersuite is what a house is called on Trova's planet, Zepi. One of the dragons in the society doesn't agree with what is happening and gets banished, and she winds up forming her own band of outcasts. There are lots of wars and conflicts, within' the Bliss Mastersuite, with the banished dragons as well as some of the moon keepers.
