*looks at joxar* I'll buy your Boneyard Bards but only a few... the rest I'm saving for next year/trading.

Anyways I'm Literally Never going to use this apparel plus it's... a little ugly with the other apparel (just have the potions and harp? why the mantle and hat...) but! Investment! I might pick up one more scene then I normally do though, the scene is rad.

On the plus side I've done all of my Woodland Path HibDen tasks, so yay!

Hahahaha

I’m stockpiling them because I think they’re great. But I don’t think they’ll ever be worth much they’ll probably only sell for 30g like the trident does. If not lower bested off the riots.

I need like 10 more though. And I’d love them recolored like next month in red...

In my personal opinion Boneyard Bards is a pretty cute apparel, it just doesn’t fit the Plague theme much, but otherwise, I think lots of dragons would look quite good on it

@Mystiek @SilverNW
Oh, I agree it can look good, and I would love maybe a 'dual-flight' dragon or twin g1s from different flights rocking the 'two sides of the same coin' energy. I just don't think they're gonna be worth much, and I can see maybe One (1) way to make an OC with it so capitalism points it is!

Also, yeah, can't wait for the Joxbox recolor! If staff doesn't make the recolor red though people are going to revolt lmao.

Putting on my economist cap, I doubt the Boneyard Bard will ever be a good investment. The way joxboxes slightly unretire festival items means the supply does increase over time - so items with extremely low demand never increase in price, where previously even things like the Pyrite Paudrons would gradually be bought up.

The Bard isn't ugly, but it falls into an unfortunate area where it's cluttered (so less dragons will be able to incorporate it) and combines two different aesthetics. Less is often more when it comes to fest apparel. It's the same problem as the Bluffclamber Belongings, another item whose price didn't take off relative to its age. A dragon might want the bone harp but not the green; the dragon might want the Robin Hood-esque hat but not the harp. Considering there are alternative items that cover the same purposes for each of the cloak, hat, and harp... I don't see the demand for this item outpacing the supply any time soon.

I personally think the scene is a better investment this fest. In the long term, absolutely not, because they're going to be the new emblems, but they're something users want several of, and we've seen the starfall and light ones especially jump in price. So I'm buying a few bards, but mostly stocking up on scenes.

part of me is thinking "get a few since so many people are boycotting purchasing them they'll be more rare then other fest apparel later on"

the other part of me is thinking "... i never remember to sell my extra fest stuff so bulking up on it is a bad idea"

because at the end of the day- it is still a limited item. it'll retain value purely from being hard to come by once this ror ends. will it be a bank maker like sprites or halos? No i highly doubt that but i don't doubt it'll worth at least a few gems by the time i remember i have spares.

@Laluzi
Yeah, same. I'm keeping them in the rare event they get Super Popular for literally no reason (kinda like Skeletal Chimes, cause I remember them not being super popular back in 2015 and now they're like 800g)

But definitely picking up an extra scene, even without the investment part they look neat! I unfortunately don't super get into the Plague/rot/Wasteland aesthetic :( but maybe I'll pick up a mushroom enthusiast OC one day!

Yup, usually I get copies of every item to resell later on. But I won't be doing it this month with the apparel. [emoji=coatl deadpan size=1]
