Is the desire for less digits just another aspect of rarity stuff, since most of the people (i'm assuming) who were here that early don't play anymore? She's very beautiful. I'm not usually a big fan of Ridgies but she's lovely.

This guy. I payed for most of his apparel in a mix between treasure and gems so I'm guessing altogether he's cost me over 200,000 treasure and around 40+ gems. I'm still not done with him though, but by the time I am I'll have spent 150+ gems on the extra apparel slot and red rose flowerfall without including the rest of the money spent.
...I had to get the Swashbuckler's Seaspray Overcoat on Talk Like A Pirate Day or else his outfit would've been 500,000+ treasure.

I'm still not done with him though, but by the time I am I'll have spent 150+ gems on the extra apparel slot and red rose flowerfall without including the rest of the money spent.

Yeah, low-digits carry a premium because it's impossible to get any new ones. They're 'retired', so they have true scarcity which often is makes things desirable.
For other reasons to add value, my 4-digit had good colors to begin with, so no scatter-quest necessary. She also has very few offspring (4) and all are named. Additionally, she's an Earth dragon, which is rarer than the other flights which have about double to triple the number of 4-digit non-progens (i.e. tradable). There is something to be said for the aesthetic of the ID number, 3355 is a double pair.
Not everyone cares about this sort of stuff, but overall the market does pay at least some attention to some of the factors, especially on already limited dragons like low-digits.

I have gen1 xyx I paid 1000g (even tho I am not so much into gen1), aaand recently got gen2 imp out of fun, paid 1250000t, none counting for genes and outfit costs ehhhh, I regene dragons offtenly (and get them costy apparels are UMA, like nothing too much except when I once bought shackles thingy, idk IF IT FITS I NEED IT). I probably have more costy dragons but idk
I am willing to pay idk how much tbh, depends how much I like dragon and so pfftt. like I would pay 10kg, problem is to have that much hA

I do have several in the works that will probably end up a lot more expensive (2-3 gem genes each, the things I do for fandergs)

Certain eye colors add value? I thought it was just a preference mainly to have matchy eyes. I'm always afraid to use scatter scrolls lest I end up with something worse than I started with. Do you have any idea how much value coliseum levels add to dragons as well?
