Oooo I love this question! My lore lair doesn't really have any deities, but I do have a mortal creature that is essentially a physical manifestation of obsession. She's not really a dragon, just took on the form to try and blend in better since she's afraid of actual deities finding out about her and destroying her. She is very powerful compared to a regular dragon though!

Vistas are just applied to your account and stay there permanently. A vista is used up when you apply it, but you have permanent access to it from then on out on your account! If you switch flights/names you still keep your vistas. :)
My favorite bit of FR lore is the Gaoler rankings and shade hunting tenancies. It has driven so much of my lore and inspired me so much man. I love the ancients.
