dragons and birds are both dinosaurs

TOPIC | Are dragons reptiles or mammals?
Skydancers and Wildclaws are birds.
Tundras/Gaolers are monotremes.
All other breeds are reptiles, though depending on breed and/or Flight they exhibit traits of fish (Ridgebacks, some Water dragons), amphibians (Bogsneaks, Water dragons again), or are chimeric in nature (Imperials, Pearlcatchers).

There are warm-blooded reptiles: birds. Not only are birds reptiles, they're dinosaurs too. In fact, the closest living relatives to crocodilians are birds. You read that right: crocodiles, alligators, etc. are more closely related to birds than they are to non-avian reptiles like lizards and turtles. That means that if birds aren't reptiles, crocs aren't either. Pretty cool, huh? Some non-avian dinosaurs are also hypothesized to have been warm-blooded, at least partly.
But on the topic of dragon taxonomy, I don't think they're reptiles, mammals, or any other type of animal we have on Earth. I think they're probably their own thing.

I think they're archosaurs (fur is actually protofeathers) that have co-evolved with magical and godly influence. I hypothesize the Furians, Sea Serpents, and Amphitheres are "dragons" that the Eleven didn't influence. However, considering we may have godless Ancients soon, we could up their classification into dragons/draconic relatives.

I'm thinking they are a type of archosaur. Tundras, gaolers, and the other maned dragons have evolved filaments similar to pterosaurs I guess.
They're just dragons. They're just their own thing and species.
But if you wanna theorize I think it depends on the dragon. Either reptiles or birds to me

They're probably closer to birds rather than reptiles or mammals imo. Birds are warm-blooded, lay eggs, and ofc, most of them can fly :P
But like, they're dragons, I'd imagine they have a classification of their own.
