I'm reasonably sure Leviathan was gifted to me as a newbie. I've put him through a ton of gene changes since then, and he's also become one of my coli monsters. I'm not in love with his colors anymore but I have a hard time imagining parting with him or even just scattering him.

My “Elders” dragons. Minus my progens there’s Leelandra (first derg I got that wasn’t bred by me, I traded one of my hatchlings for her), Booker (first derg I bought, he’s a bit ugly but at time he was all I could afford), and BloodGrass (first and only derg I have ever hatched.)
They are all triple basic and they are staying that way.

I exalted many of the old dergs, only 2 of them survived my many purges. Alistair is one of them and still is one of my favourite dragons I own. I love him to bits. I saved up for a whole week just to pay the 60kt price tag of this cutie patootie. And for a newb, that was so hard to do!

Not long after that I decided to be exclusively a Fluff Lair, so all my dragons that weren't Tundras or Gaolers were either sold, exalted or breed changed. Zethe became a Tundra, so that he could keep his genes.

Here's Solstice, the first dragon I bought. I got her as a triple basic hatchling and she was the cheapest wildclaw I could find at the time. I think she was like 75kt? Both of her parents were progens from what I can tell, but that wasn't uncommon back then either.
