Same- I never thought I'd ever gain interest in G1s. I don't know what's so enticing about them but I now have more than a few scattered around my lair...

Newbie me: Oh, cool, people write lore and get all creative writing with their dragons? Sounds like fun!
Me now, at least three lore overhauls later, intentionally keeping bios (at least the up-to-date ones) short as possible despite still remembering a decent amount of backstory: lore whomst

Back then I wasn't even interested in getting clothes for my dragons, and I thought I was advantaged because I could save more money this way. Until I got an outfit for one of my dragons...now it's every dragon.

Care about G1s. At first I thought they were way overrated and didn’t see the appeal over cheaper and already fully-gened bred dragons. Then this lil angel dude and his perfect colors showed up in my lair.

I’m still not a G1 collector/enthusiast or anything, but I understand the appeal now and I think I can make an exception for an exceptional enough dragon. I wanna spoil him with these genes even if I’m a very long way off from affording them.
