I would love this. ...And It would be easy to make it different from other dragons.
I don't see the hooves being a problem, especially since they made those Snapper elephant feet be good for gloves lol

@Savaroth yeah, you make a good point with the snapper feet, something like cloven hooves shouldn't be too much of a leap. most of the glove apparel is all fingerless anyways lol

I'd even take those in the 3rd pics as just familiars, those look awesome.

Very cool idea! But unfortunately Qilin are a completely different creature from dragons in mythology, and it would be very weird (to me at least?) to fuse the two together.

@Luhnia yeah, i definitely see where you're coming from. although that's kind of why i mentioned to have a dragon based off a qilin, because i feel like a base qilin would fit more in the fr familiar category? dragon corrin is pretty heavily based of qilin/kirin but fire emblem has no trouble classifying it as a dragon because they've stylized it enough

@Deathtoll lmao i didn't even realize that was a familiar, i can't keep track of them all

although just because there's a qiriq familiar it doesn't completely put a horse dragon out of the running, i mean, there are a lot of snake and lizard familiars but lizardy dragons like bogsneaks and guardians are still a thing
