I believe they're just eggs that got stolen from beastclan
and that's why those eggs can be found when scarvenging
or when fighting beastclan in the coliseum, as for progens
they were actually created by the gods and they've got a
special connection with the clan they founded and that's
why they can be restored from exaltation even tho they've
been exalted for years.
