I've been trying to map out locations for my upcoming lore clan and find myself a bit stumped...
When you first visit the World Map, this is how Shadow Flight is laid out, and how I see the various locations existing...however, the map changes once you click it...

Mainly the difference is in the areas that look like the potential for the Driftwood Drag and the Foxfire Brambles... Both maps could make sense... I could see the Drag being in either spot...both bordering a water area (the Sea and nature's glades)...
So, since I can't decide which map I'm going to pick as 'canon' because the art staff never made it clear...I figured I'd take a group poll.
Which version do you like/envision more?

They're kind of the same thing? I guess the Forum of Obscured Crescent is a bit off, but both have the same shape and the island thingies.

Frimp It's the swamp islands, on the first map they're drawn at the lower left. Second map, they're drawn at the upper right (or well, on the second map it's in both places lol).

Always the region-specific map. I kow it's meant to hit the highlights of each region and not to be completely accurate, but I can't stand the horrible size proportions. It's not as bad as the second version. I also like how there is way more detail. As for the actual location, I prefer the region specific again. Thanks overall world map needs a redraw.
I always prefer the larger, flight-specific maps, they give a better impression of the regions than the overview map. It's clear the Driftwood Drag is supposed to be at those islands in the north. If I had a guess, you can't see them on the first map is because of the trees.

i figure the world map is a caricatured version of the landscape rather than an accurate geographical depiction
well, i mean, so are the close view maps, but maybe slightly less so

the second one. I've always imagined that ancient lairs are closest to the centre, but that's just me. It's also spaced better
