[center][quote=hello!][font=garamond][size=5]updates as of 6-27: Hello there! After being in and out of hiatus for a few years, I'm love to start reworking my Clan's lore. I'll be rewriting some parts and smoothing out inconsistencies as I get up to date on the official FR lore. This thread will be an intro to all my dragons and feature some of their diary entries. A spiral approaches, her scales a gentle lavender, juxtaposed by the erratic manifestation of energy that leaps from her scales in wild, flaring arcs. Here is a dragon whose Arcane magic bursts forth from her soul, brilliant yet unnervingly chaotic, true to the nature of her Flight.

She carries a weathered tome of ancient pages, brimming with text in scrawled handwriting in a language that is archaic and long forgotten. It contains the legends and lineages of a draconic folk from ages past. These are the practitioners of ancient magic, granted to them by a pantheon of buried gods. The kindred have since been scattered to the winds, but awakening forces have begun to draw them back together, to the epicenter of their creation in the Arcane lands.

They say that the ancient woods will show their favor to their chosen few, enveloping them and guiding them to their refuge. Here within the Aetherwoods, that spirit has inundated the land. For the lucky few who have been blessed by its magic, a guide will manifest seemingly from the lifeblood of the forest itself- a spirit who appears only just past dusk under the glow of a waxing moon. However idyllic their home may be, the roots of the Order are sick and rotting with corruption, for they have been poisoned by the Druids' leaders, charismatic figureheads who preach messages of animosity between Flights. Also referred to as the Fair Folk. • the existence of the fey court is the only major piece of Clan lore not connected to Flight Rising canon. The fey possess their own, ancient type of magic separate from the Eleven's elemental magic. In their realm, elemental magic is nonfunctional. • therefore, dragons may visit the Fair Folk's realm, but often cannot survive there long, as elemental magic is a dragon's lifeblood. Evergreen and Glad's adopted daughter, Dryad, who was stolen as a hatchling and replaced with a changeling, was weak in the fey realm, and died upon being returned to Sornieth. Arro, however, managed to survive and returned to Sornieth, imbued with a touch of fey magic. • Clan Saturn and the fey court have amiable relations, and the fey court's magic helps bolster the illusion shroud surrounding the Aetherwoods territory.

Clan Trivia:

Saturnine Court: the fey court's name for Clan Saturn
The Aetherwoods: name of the territory where Clan Saturn resides; part of the Starwood Strand

• fey ≠ Fae dragon breed, fey refers to the Seelie Court of non-dragon creatures that live under the hill in the corner of the Aetherwoods.
