Flight Rising Discussion

Hi there everyone! I'm laticat, also known as Lati or Latte. I've been with Wind since I joined in June this year, and it's been a blast so far! IRL I am a Senior in high school, and a budding artist. I plan on going to SCAD next year, so if you're a student or looking to go there too, send me a message! I love talking to people, no matter the flight! I have to warn you though, I can be quite talkative! Especially if you get me talking about my dragons or certain fandoms that I love, such as Pokemon or Zelda. Lately I've also fallen hard for Homestuck, and you can see the start of a troll series in my lair! Anyway, this is my first serious Dom battle! I joined right in time to train up dragons to participate in the Beach Party, but I only exalted what I hatched and got from a Light friend. So this time I decided to go hard! I bought her during my first week of playing on the AH, and I've never regretted it for a minute. :) She is a kind and compassionate Skydancer, and when she is with the clan she enjoys looking after the hatchlings. However she has the highest strength stat in the entire clan, so watch out! As difficult as it may be to get on her bad side, it is certainly not a place you want to be. I got her for free from a friend, and she launched my obsession with maize crackle. To this day if I see a dragon with maize crackle on the AH (especially a female Imp or Skydancer), I can't help but buy them! I admit that I've done this a few times this month, even though I'm participating in no spendtember...but to be fair, they would have all been exalted in last week's dom! Like the others, I got her during my first week of playing. I bought her on the AH, having completely fallen for her as a baby. Now that she's grown up and grown stronger, she's even more beautiful! She knows this of course, and always appreciates a good compliment. However she has a good heart, and fighting for the clan in the Mire is what she enjoys the most.

I'm solroxies! I've been here since October 2014, which is also when I joined wind! This is my first time being part of the buy thread! In ~*real life*~, I'm studying music composition at university, and hope to compose for video games! In my free time, I make mason jar salads and watch anime. And today I literally woke up to 17 pings and remembered with horror that I forgot to mark myself as offline when I went to bed. Luckily none of them were CRs, just other Windies selling Kites :P I've been in Wind the whole time I've been playing (since Dec 2014), and I'm not planning on switching. The community is super amazing c: this is my second time assisting with a public buy as a trainer :) A little about me IRL; I'm a young adult who's constantly tired and trying to figure out life. I study crafting and specialise in fabrics :) on my free time I like to draw and sleep :D I like cartoons a lot (MLP, SU, AT, GF, sorry for all the abbreviations I'm a bit distracted right now,) and lately I've been re-listening to WTNV episodes while grinding and I'm in love with that podcast. My team consists of these two, Arne and Dreyri ^^ they have been trained by Baldur to offer only the very best training for kites-to-be! They are very faithful to the Windsinger and want to honor him as much as possible, so my clan exalts a lot of dragons. Dominance pushes, especially battles, are one of the few things that actually gets Baldur visibly excited! ^^

His goal in life is to hack the gods, [s]act like a massively overgrown gecko[/s], and generally be a nuisance to his training team member, VII. She generally enjoys tearing things apart and hoarding/eating metals to augment her gembond. I can't tell whether she enjoys taking down Psywurms in the Mire or lives to do it, but just don't let her keep the magnetite or hematite drops. Codex will inevitably drop one or the other and make VII chase her precious minerals around.
