I don't know how many people are actually doing to sit down and listen to these, but if you like what you hear give me a ping and I can sit down and list out my whole library, and give reasons as to why you should love each of them.

Also, I play bass in a metal band, so I realize nobody is as invested in this as I am. I'm sorry if I come on strong.

Needless to say, I'm all in for a Metal Flight. Also, I think Gunmetal would be an obvious choice for eye color. And as a bonus, dark gray would go with everything.

I don't know if this is even possible, but if an Emperor were to turn against it's brethren, and fight with the dergs in the good fight, I think they would be an ideal candidate for our Patron. The eleven headed gOD OF SUFFERING AND DEATH AND PAIN THE PHYSICAL EMBODIMENT OF METAL

Okay, so here's what I'm thinking. In the lore, we are aware of all of the deities already. Our patron/matron doesn't necessarily need to be a deity. Here's the thought:

Metal is an amalgamation of all of the current flights. Earth, fire, and water make metal, but only if it conducts electricity, and reflects light. Metal lives in shadow. Is cold as ice, but given the right hand, as alive as nature, as dangerous as plague, or as free as wind.

So how do all of the elements temper and alloy to create something new?

Eleven dragons become eleven heads. And only if each represents an element does an emperor Dragon truly awaken. Awaken to reason, and empathy. Awaken to fear, and ambition.

Only then does an an emperor become a patron, and guide a new flight, which represents parts of all of the elements. We are Metal. And though we are new, our tenents are inexorable and unrelenting. Much like us.
