I'm trying to breed a Gold/Red/Royal dragon. Despite being a beautiful set of colors, there are only...5 dragons of that color? I'd have to go and check.
On that note, I have a breeding pair trying to get that one, and the most common of their offspring is one of 13 total - I think four were unexlated? If anybody is interested, I've got the link to the thread in my signature, at least for now.

There's only 11 spring/magenta/shadows on site, and only four unexalted? That probably counts as rare, idk.
She's not especially attractive, so I can see why the combo isn't more common, but I don't know, I'll mess around with breeds and genes in the Scryshop some more at some point, I bet there's some way she'll look decent.
I half wanted to sell her, but I figured she'd just be exalted, even if she's gen1.

Yeah, times have changed since the actual 'trend' days of FR. Now there are so many dragons that 'rare' has to be really specific.
For example, '"neon wings"' (dark prim/bright shimmer sec) used to be the thing when there wasn't many of them. But now they're common.
Then it was doubles.
And when those got common, triples.
And then XYY and XXY and XYX and then XYZ.
and now its whatever dragon has a combo shared with less than 15 other dragons, usually weirdly unattractive.

There are 48 dragons with brown/orange/rose, but only 11 of those are unexalted. I need a female one with that color combo, only 6 of them exist on the site.. Breeding it is ;D

For my first progen, including him, 20 active dergs with crimson/jade/maize and 50 exalted. Kinda-sorta rare I guess?
For my other progen, including her, 3 active dergs with caribbean/maroon/aqua and 22 exalted so I'd say it's pretty rare.

It's lucky, since he was my only hatch during the first NotN. He came out of the egg Swamp/Violet/Navy. Not the worst, but not exactly easy to work with. Currently, there are only 3 other dragons like him, so he definitely tops my rarest-dragon list at 1 in 4. [/center]
