Jamai glared at the scrap of paper. What was he supposed to do with this? Ask for something that he didn't even need? He let out a snort and pawed the ground in frustration. Well he could make a wish for someone else, but who- A high pitched noise entered his ear holes and his eyes widened. Plaguebringer preserve him, no! After running for goodness knows how long, he stumbled upon a tiny box. Panting, the Wildclaw stared at it, an idea forming in his head. He plucked one of the various quill pens lying beside it and began to write on the scrap.

He waddled over to the source to find a Spiral hatchling looking completely lost. ...Not his problem. As he brushed past the little one, he could hear her sniffling before waddling after him. "What the-?! What is with all these hatchlings following me?!"

A tiny crimson hatchling, brand new and still wobbly on her feet, whispers urgently into the ear of her Queen (who has kindly brought her to the festival). Queen Olivine nods solemnly and writes the little hatchling's wish on the paper and hands it back.
The tiny crimson girl takes it over to the box and carefully slips it inside. Then raising her face to the sky she suddenly bursts out with, "Please Tidelord! And thank you for letting me ask!"
Chuckling softly Olivine leads the youngster off to see the rest of the festival, reminding her that the Tidelord is very busy and has many requests to try to fulfill, so don't be too sad if she doesn't get her wish. Before they disappear between the tents the tiny hatchling is heard to say, "Oh, that's okay! It was fun to ask!"
