I appreciate you addressing the lack of vote, as that was in my notes to ask you about today. I know you mentioned having D&D today, but whenever you're next available I'd love to get some kind of readlist from you, even if it's just a bare-bones set of names.

The only opinion I have noted from you as of yesterday was a squint at autumn, and if you are town as Tay suggests, it would've sucked for you to have died (if not by nk then by town kp) overnight and us not to have any sort of legacy reads to look into for clues on where to go next. (For the record I had this issue with Astro too, but she has since shown up and offered some thoughts.)

I don't consider myself a mechanical wizard of any kind, but the whole idea that 'blocking one member of the mafia blocks the entire factional kill' still sounds silly and kind of a short stick for the mafia team imho. And how does the anonymous message sender know that's how it works? I may be skill issued at reading and still nursing a migraine, but I scoured the entire front page of this thread twice this morning and didn't catch any mention of factional kill mechanics. (Though presumably the mafia would be in the know about their own kill mechs.)

The only reads I have on record from you are squints on both rom and I yesterday. Any other thoughts on the rest of the cast? Who do you trust the most atm?

we have 10 living players.


Assuming we have 2 mafia, barring extra kp/nk failures...


10 -> 8 -> 6 -> 4


We can afford 2 more miselims before parity.


If we assume 3 maf, we can only afford one more mistake before melo.


A 3 maf world would be really harsh and not the most balanced thing ever, so I'm thinking 2 is most likely, but in the interest of trying to make every day count I'm not putting it entirely out of possibility. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst, etc etc.

(also feel free to double check me because I am notoriously awful at math)

I still don’t like the request for Rex to claim, but I’ll accept that it might be culture clash.

So if someone is going for your head to be on a platter we need to figure out who. I'm not going to ask for an out right claim, I'll leave the violent stick poking to Tay. But based on what you had said in the post above this, you think that this is a big confusion of mechanics. I only considered it after you said something about not being the best reader, there very well could be something we are missing within SoD's messages. I'm hesitant to say exactly what I think everyone should notice because then the mafia could probably figure it out too. But I have a theory on who the modposter could be. But if your wrong about mechanics it would likely doom one of the power roles we have defending ourselves against mafia. Somehow the person (s) not only can speak in the night (meaning can send coded messages) but also, has rb if it's one singular person. I could see a coordinated mafia attack in theory, but tbf you haven't been exactly top posting except for memes. So your not exactly your most threatening yet.

The mechs info that makes me dislike the announcement post is that I can confirm with 100% certainty that Rex is town.
