coatls because i love them, even they are based off axolotls, my favorite animal!
the colors are just my favorite colors and those colors also remind me of my main sona

[*]Apparently liking to dress up my dragons fancy makes me a Pearlie, which I'm honestly happy with.

[*]In rl, I'm pretty basic, I think, so the wing gene is a Ginger Safari - bonus for brown mane and a mild association to exotic animals, yay (I have a pet snake and love critters)
[*]Boulder and Ultramarine because Blue is my favourite colour, that specific one looked best to me on Boulder, and the mystic kinda look of the gene plays into my esoteric hobbies (tarot, astrology, collecting healing stones, etc.)
[*]Fireflies are just... I love the lights? Makes her look pretty and sets a scene, but honestly, they are just for show. I'd leave her without a tertiary gene if I didn't like the fairy-light effect so much
[*]Aaaaand lastly, I am a Shadowling and will forever be one. Goat eyes because they look ditzy (which I can be a lot of the time) and cause goats are adorable.
