It was going to be perfect for Longnecks, and ever so tasty. She began to smoke some Needletooth steaks, making sure to keep an eye on them, and set out to saute some finely chopped longgrass stalks, sweet grass and wild onion in vegetable oil. Once those were taken care of, she set out to make a delicious salad. [center][item=longgrass stalk][item=leopard needletooth][item=cedar logs][item=vegetable oil][item=sweet grass][item=wild onion][/center] Reviewing her left over ingredients, Ichikori realized that she could make a salad containing both fruit and vegetables. The water lettuce served as the main ingredient of the salad, and Ichikori added lots of it. She added a pinch of salt and small chunks of the berry and nut trail bar. After all the ingredients were added, she tossed the salad and was almost done! She mixed it all together and tasted it, refining it until she thought it was satisfactory. [center][item=blood acorn][item=grassland grain][item=cindermint][item=blackberry][item=raspberry][/center] Finally, all of the food was finished. Ichikori hoped that the judges liked it... She assembled the plates by first placing a smoked Needletooth steak on each one, followed by sprinkling the sautéed vegetables overtop of it. She placed the somewhat sweet and hearty salad on the side. Next, she poured some of the sauce over the salad, taking care not to add too much. She also added a few peppermint leaves for decoration. Our ingredients today have been chosen in honor of the Centaur, and they are as follows: Honey has been used for countless generations as a preservative and a sweetener, but blue honey is special. Produced only by hives of Coral Carpenters, it is regarded as a delicacy among Centaur herds, and often used in important diplomatic dishes. Lastly, herds hailing from the land of the Arcanist often trade Blood Acorns with more distant herds and dragon clans. They are often included in centaur trail mixes and rations. Day 1

She lifted the cloth off of the ingredients and stared. A trail bar? What could she do with a trail bar? It was already cooked… Actually, all of the ingredients were somewhat dry. She needed something to brighten it up. A salad! Salad was bright!

First she pulled apart the stonewatch scrub, leaving each blue petal on its own. She broke off the tapered ends and threw them out, leaving smaller, more conventionally petal-shaped petals. Next she turned to the golden milkweed. This was harder because before dividing the golden petals, like she had done to the stonewatch scrub, she pulled off the pink petals so that they all stuck together in their flower shape still. She managed to get enough in the end, but many fell apart while she was doing it. She boiled a pot of oil and carefully dipped each petal from her collection in until the edges began to brown. Then she placed them on paper bags so that the excess oil would drip away. When that was finished she salted them and put all of the petals except for the pink ones from the golden milkweed in a bowl which she covered with plastic wrap and then shook until they were all mixed up. Lastly, she added the pink petals on top, face-down as they grew on the golden milkweed. She could make a meal-a three-course meal for three ingredients: first course, main course, and dessert! She decided the jerky would be used as her first course. She twisted them into U shapes and set them aside until right before it was time to plate the food. For the main meal she decided to stick to classics and make a grain-based stew. She boiled amaranth grain in water, poured out some of the water, then added roasted dwarf faun meat and boiled everything again. Lastly, she added potato onions and cindershrooms along with salt and blacktongue pepper seeds before boiling everything one last time. For dessert, she took the blood acorns and drained the syrup from them into a pan. She started boiling it and slowly added honey from the blue honeycomb which she had melted down, and some regular honey, too. When everything was mixed together into a sticky syrup she dipped winter’s delight, blackberries, raspberries, seaberries and strawberry halves in it and put them in the fridge to cool. She took the drippings from when she had roasted the dwarf faun meat and, after adding water to thin it slightly, she mixed it with leftover amaranth grain. She covered the jerky with it and put it in the oven to roast. For plating, she put the jerky on a plate, the stew in a bowl, and the fruit she arranged in a diagonal pattern-the strawberry haves breaking up every two berries. Each dish she put on a bultler's platter and covered it before setting them in a row.
