Their leader was always withdrawn and a woman of few words, I'm told, but her harshness was new. I would almost think she didn't like us.

... have we... done something to upset her? Oh, nothing worse than every other clan. But if we have made an enemy, I'd rather like to know, shouldn't I? I've been told they've been redirecting part of their efforts from diplomacy into something a bit more... nebulous. Entirely unknown, in fact. I suspect that's where our parts went. Figure out where those parts we sold are going, and whether it's a cause for concern. I care little about their pet projects, unless they plan on aiming it somewhere... undesirable. Understood, sir.
