Astria slowly walked into the building and looked at the body, trying to swallow down nausea. Dead bodies were not something she was used to looking at. She found the experience extraordinarily unpleasant, both due to the gruesomeness of it and the unsettling lack of emotions coming from the dragon. But there was more important matters than her own discomfort. The amount of time that she could stand to look at the body confirmed what others had said, that Misty was overpowered and strangled. But with what? Astria thought. She gave a small poke around the room, but couldn't find anything. Maybe she wasn't cut out for detective business. Or maybe the coldness and emptiness of Misty's body was starting to affect her focus. She wasn't much use right now either way.

Outside, she could sense the shifting emotions focus themselves on one dragon. Skywarp. Stepping out and getting ahold of her breathing, she looked at Skywarp on his perch and observing the group, but she could sense some sort of want on his mind. She focused a little harder and felt he was yearning for wings. Wings? At this time when there's been a murder? Astria narrowed her eyes in his direction. She could see why others were starting to suspect him.

Astria votes for Skywarp.

Hiss.

Fresh fish blood.

Fear, lots of fear? Why?

No matter. Eat blood. Leave.

I love fireflies!” BumbleBee smiles and looks down at her unicorn familiar, “shall we go and see it?” The unicorn shakes their head in distrust “ooh, I know there is ‘apparently’ a killer out there, but we need to look on the bright side of things!” her teeth showing as she gives her familiar a friendly smile. BumbleBee steps outside her den with her familiar in toe, “where did it go?” She looks around and sees the shimmering thing fly into the woods. “Oh! Wait up! Let’s go.” She says with a smile as Bumble skips into the forest. After some time, she ends up following it down a steep cliff, Bumble glides down, avoiding the trees, while her familiar jumps down using rocks until they reach the bottom. “Where are you lil guy? We wanna say hi!” Bumble looks around and then down at her familiar, seeing them stomping their hooves on the ground. “ok ok! If it’s not here I guess we shouldn’t disturb the poor thing! We can head back since it’s getting so late” Bumble smiles at her unicorn before spotting a small handheld mirror in the dirt next to their hoof. “Why is this here… oh is this what I was following!?” She goes to grab the mirror when suddenly she hears a rumbling sound “huh?” Bumble looks up to see a giant boulder bounce down the cliff, scattering earth as the ground rumbles. “AAAH –“ She tries to scream but it’s too late, the giant boulder lands on top of Bumble, crushing her and her unicorn, as they die together in a puff of golden smoke. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ BumbleBee would be found crushed by a giant boulder at the bottom of a cliff, with reflective shards scattered around the kill site. Her Aries is tucked away by her side, lightly snoring. Maybe she should count sheep. She kept thinking about the murder of Misty, the clan voting to exile a dragon and of Skywarp’s sudden disappearance. Did they commit the crime, or not? The thought of another murder possibly occurring also kept her awake. If it happens again, she sighed. She knew there are plenty of dragons living here that can defend themselves and protect others, but Misty was a tough dragon and look what happened to her. Still it’s quiet. It seemed like everyone is in their den. After what happened, she decided to move closer to the main Clangrounds, just in case she is needed. She didn’t have much time to make it comfortable for her size, which made it even harder to get some sleep. She stared at stars. Despite all the unfortunate events that happened, it’s a beautiful night. One constellation, Pisces, stood out for a reason. Strange, is it suppose to be visible this time of year? Seeing the Fishes does make her smile. At least there’s a constant in her life. No matter what happens, she’ll have the stars… and fish! She closed her eyes and when she opens them again, it’s to the sound of the High Priestess’ voice. Another murder. Although she feels lethargic, she immediately gets up and quickly learns what has happened from Viv and Liz. Bumblebee the Ridgeback was crushed by a giant rock. Who would do such a thing? Assuming it’s the same dragon that took Misty’s life, it was likely about half of Bumblebee’s size yet strong enough to pull this off. “Was there some kind of wooden plank they used? A trap?” She asks around, but even if there was, the Killer would have taken it away. Shards of glass are scattered all over the area, her Aries pokes at one. The pieces around it are green. “What is it?” she says. It stops poking and turns away, skipping off. Typical, but the broken shards of glass are no longer green. Was this a mirror? Hsinchu’s younger siblings loved hanging mirrors around the entrance of the Den, always hoping to catch a glimpse of a Nocturne’s reflection. Is this how the Killer lured their victim here, did they mean to target Bumblebee? First the Hunter, and now a Ridgeback that could have protected the smaller dragons. Whoever is responsible wants strong dragons gone.

Screaming.
Fading light, shattered earth.
A broken dragon, another death.

Lette woke with a gasp.
"Eyee?" Lette looked over to see Eyee still sleeping, head tucked cozily into their mane. Lette sighed and stood cautiously, careful not to jostle and wake Eyee. Lette carefully placed on their jewels and hurried out of the den.
"Mm?" Eyee blinked and glanced at Lette.
"Sister?"
"I dreamed another death," Lette explained, "I didn't see who. I'm checking on Sunny girl."
"Mm. Wake me later, then." Eyee closed her eyes and returned to sleep, beginning to snore ever so gently.

Lette hopped up to Sundancer's lair and rapped on the door.
"Sunny girl! Are you in?" Lette called. "I dreamed again. Are you safe? Are you well?" Lette hopped a little and lashed her tail nervously, waiting keenly for a response. "Sundancer?"
