Because of reasons. Starts fancy like a Skydancer, sorta dark but also beautiful for the obsidian/crimson, manages to be upbeat, hence the speckle, and somewhat confusing for the maize gembond.

I choose a mirror dragon, because a mirror is one of the few ways to see your true self, and have your mental self and true self confront each other. If your spirit is a mirror then there is no escaping your true self. I chose the shade of blue I did, because it's light and chill like the beat. Is also a little dark and saddening. The black represents the truth and realization eating the person alive. The grey represents them beginning to come to peace with their true self, and it's crystal because the rainbow is on the edge. Representing the music or old self fading away and beginning to leave.

I felt the silhouette of a Guardian really worked if that makes any sense. Like the round hunched shape. The dark blue okapi is from the singers voice, specifically the sort of controlled peaks at the high notes. The song is somewhat dark in theme so i chose darker colors. The fire eyes were partly because of the line "For those who still can recall/The desperate colors of fall" and partly for the sort of resistance or fire in the tone of the voice. The sort of broken up patterns of the primary secondary genes were for the piano.
