I am desperate to increase diversity in the sparkly-green-dragon gene pool here on Flight Rising, so I am running a [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/qnc/3296657#post_3296657]massive bottleneck breeding challenge[/url] with my goal being to get as many green crystal/facet XXX dragons as as possible with G1 breeding capabilities (4 levels of fully exalted ancestors and their siblings, so they can breed with any other dragon on the site)! Every once in a while I stalk the auction house to buy dragons en-masse that fit my requirements for the starting generation, but I've been running into a problem lately where I'm repeatedly finding dragons hatched from pairs I've already bought a hatchling from, which is messing things up down the road. So here we are.[/center] ----- [b]What I'm looking for:[/b] I have a few tiers of what I'm looking for. To minimize me having to breed a pair more than once or to minimize me needing to buy any replacement genes once I get to my end dragon, my preference is green XXX crystal/facet/opal dragons. However, I can also work with what I have listed below. Regarding colors: [LIST] [*] Green-range (Spruce to Moss) XXX. [*] All colors somewhere in the green range. the close to XXX the better, but I'll even take a dragon with greens on opposite ends of the range. [*] All colors somewhere in the blue-yellow range. The closer to the greens the better, but I might even take fully yellow or blue dragons if I'm desperate enough at the time. [/LIST] Regarding genes: [LIST] [*] Crystal/facet/opal [*] Crystal/facet/any rare tertiary gene [*] Either crystal OR facet, with any other rare primary/secondary/tertiary gene [*] Any rare genes, but all three genes must be rare so that I can attempt to breed out the non-crystal/facet ones. I'm violently sick of butterfly/petals flooding the market but yes I will even take these. [/LIST] Regarding breed: [LIST] [*] Any modern breed. Literally any and all of them. (Maybe bonus points for ridgebacks since they are my favorite and i have almost none currently?) [*]Not interested in [i]any[/i] ancients! Their breeding limitations are too boring for me! [/LIST] [b]What I'm willing to pay:[/b] I'm new to buying dragons outside of the AH (and new to actually posting in the forums in general), so not sure what things tend to go for here. I can pay in either treasure or gems, with treasure preferred. Will be willing to pay more based on how well the dragon fits my criteria. (Although I do also have lots of old holiday chests I'd be willing to trade as well, if anyone is interested. Not sure how to get rid of them any other way lol) [b]The catch:[/b] Any dragons purchased will be bred once (or as many times as it takes for me to get a good hatchling) and then exalted, with all other offspring being exalted as well. [b]Absolutely no exceptions.[/b] However, the dragon's image will be permanently memorialized in the bio of the remaining offspring in a big pretty green family tree! I have a naming convention that I use for labeling which dragons are part of the starting generation, but if you want to give them a particular name before handing them off that's totally alright with me, otherwise you better be okay with me just naming everything Ore. ----- This goal is likely going to be what I'm working on until the last time I log out of this game and drop dead, so this thread is gonna stick around for a while. If you need any greens in coatl/wildclaw breeding window, I could breed you a baby if needed. I do have some with opal most will have gem genes, I am trying to breed some different colors so if you have a color you need just let me know.
