Word spread of the hundreds of treats and pastries soon to be handed out, and the strings upon strings of delicate lanterns that would be hung up along streets and forest paths alike. However, in the Fortress of Ends, all was not well. The Icewarden's numerous assistants rushed about the rooms frantically, organizing light shows, entertainment and deliveries. Finally, one haggard cat spoke up to the room, declaring in a anxious whisper. "Bad omens are upon us! Scouts report the disappearance of the moon, and if we cannot find it in time, the festival will have to be postponed, or worse, cancelled!" A great hush spread across everyone, as mouths gaped and breaths were drawn. A smaller, timid looking tabby suddenly stepped besides the head organizer of this event, declaring proudly, "We can do this! All we need are some brave and adventurous dragons, willing to scour the lands for this missing moon!" The cats turned once again to work, drafting posters that would soon be plastered all across the tundra, seeking the aid of dragons everywhere and thus, the great hunt for the autumn moon began.
