Thanks for the help, while I didn't end up picking any of them, it helped me find a place to start, and I ended up going with this fellow:

All three dragons are
almost perfect. The first coatl would've been perfect if not for her pink wings (I try to avoid pink in my lair, had they been blue I would've bought her in a second).
The second skydancer is perfect in every way, except her breed. (I just love the look of coatl hatchlings).
The third wildclaw looks great as well, unfortunately she has the cherub gene so the poison from Edmund would rarely show in their hatchlings.
I know I'm being extremely picky here and I completely get it if you decide to give up on him (although I hope you don't :)
Are you willing to give it another shot?
