This is the first time that you can remember feeling so good. In fact, you know you haven't felt like this since...the incident in the market. Shaking off the repugnant memory, you take a deep breath and slowly exhale, letting all the tension flow from you in that single breath. For a serene moment, you close your eyes and turn your face to the rays of dappled sunlight that filter through the canopy above. Just when you decide this very moment is the most perfect moment in your entire life, you hear the small [i]snap[/i] of a twig beside you. Before your eyes can pop open, a loud [b][i]SCREECH[/i][/b] fills your face, hot breath leaving moisture on your eyelids and cheeks. Terrified, you stumble backwards and immediately trip on a soggy branch that fell from the old oak tree above you during the last storm. When your bottom hits the ground, you throw your arms above your head to protect yourself from the unknown, very noisy threat. The scream continues, a single unending note that has been happening for far longer than you imagine any creature is capable of making. Panting from fear, your eyes fly open and directly in front of you is your torturer - an Obolisk dragon of average proportions. You sit, shivering in fear, for long minutes until she stops screaming in your face and takes a deep breath. Then, she giggles innocently and bounds away with her Prowler familiar hot on her heels. "I see you've met our lovely girl," he consoles you as he motions for [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/63502154]Enchanter [/url]to bring you some tea, something soothing for your nerves. [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/60335579]Moe [/url]sneaks away with Enchanter and pulls a flask of stronger drink from his gear, adds a dab to your drink as Enchanter scowls at him. Some nights, the screech of Baconheart is heard in concert with her victims' squeals. Other nights, she just screams for the pleasure of making so much noise. Most of the clan dread their encounters with Baconheart, but for some inexplicable reason, [url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/59041356]Veloci [/url]of the Squamata adores the mischievous Obolisk. Some of the clan have placed bets on if veloci gave Baconheart the wing-fans, or if the crazy kitten stole them from some poor hapless traveler.
