Dearest Family,
We write to you with the happiest of news—our little family has grown! Our three beautiful hatchlings have brought endless joy (and just a bit of chaos) into our lives, and we are delighted to introduce them to you.
Frahlinn, our eldest, has taken an early interest in enchantments and toxicology. He is meticulous in his work, always striving for precision, and has little patience for interruptions. Though he can be temperamental when his focus is disturbed, his passion for his craft is undeniable. We often find him hunched over his workspace, muttering to himself as he fine-tunes his latest concoctions. Despite his prickly nature, we know he has a good heart—he simply expresses it in his own way.
Gizmo, our second son, is the gentlest soul you could ever meet. He has a deep love for animals, and it seems they love him just as much! Whether it's a lost fledgling or a grumpy old beast, they all seem to gravitate toward him. He has an uncanny ability to soothe even the most nervous creatures, and we’re convinced he understands them just as well as he does people—perhaps even better. Watching him care for the critters of Croalta fills us with pride, and we know he will do great things with his kindness.
Meladine, our youngest and only daughter, has an artistic heart. She spends her days crafting the most exquisite jewelry, each piece carrying her delicate touch. But she is also a writer at heart, and her quill—a clever familiar that corrects her grammar and spelling—keeps her on her toes. We often hear her debating with it over phrasing, only to sigh and give in with a laugh. Her creativity knows no bounds, and we can’t wait to see what stories and treasures she will create.
Each of them is so unique, and though they challenge us in their own ways, we wouldn’t trade a moment of it. Our home is filled with laughter, learning, and the occasional minor explosion (thanks to Frahlinn’s experiments), but it is a home full of love.
We long for the day when you can meet them in person and watch them grow as we have. Until then, know that we are well, and our hearts remain connected across the distance.
