I have a decent chunk of dragons that are all supposed to be dragonflies, but there's twelve of them, which is over the limit, so I can't post them here. Instead, I'm going to show off two of the overseers of my dragonflies, who are also bug-themed themselves! :D All of my collection (dragonflies and the two overseers) are Special IDs that have the numbers 6704 somewhere in there, as it's my favorite number for personal reasons, and it means a lot to me symbolically (good + happy vibes)! :D The first of these overseers is... And the other one is... [center][url=https://www1.flightrising.com/dragon/67400674][img]https://www1.flightrising.com/rendern/350/674007/67400674_350.png[/img][/url] [size=6]Anisoptera[/size] they/them/theirs | EPIPTITE OVERSEER #67400674[/center] A dragonfly is a flying insect belonging to the infraorder Anisoptera below the order Odonata! So they're kind of damselfly / dragonfly-vibed! :D I love them. ----- And for my third dragon to show-off, I'm picking my entomologist! He's a fandragon of a character from Guild Wars 2, who is canonically autistic (like me! the representation makes me so happy, especially since he loves bugs like I do! :D)! Even his skin/accent (and scene) are bug-themed! It's one of the fastest mounts in the game and absolutely nyooms the heck around. :D I love it and this bug boy so much, heehee. They're a reoccurring motif in his lore, magic, and design. Widdershins is an occultist, and his magic is primarily used to communicate with ghosts and spirits, (Plus I really wanted to use this skin), so the Death's Head Moth seemed like a perfect fit. I like the idea of a night themed character being associated with butterflies, which are otherwise always associated with daytime and sunlight! It fits his otherworldly, ghostly lore.
