the dragons that you have poured your everything into.
be it lore, aesthetic, nostalgia, etc...
who are the dragons that, when someone stumbles across them at random, they'll go "oh yeah that's definitely ____'s dragon."
i just think it's exciting and fun to share this kind of thing, because we're all so unique and have so many different aspects of the game we like to focus on <3

for me, seraphim is my number one. the ultimate pastel comfort dragon with a vague otherworldly feel that is both unsettling but also soothing. she represents my love for pearl, my longstanding adoration for all things unicorn related (though in a much more subtle way than i planned lmao) and my obsession with crafting an outfit around an amazing skin/accent.

noctis is definitely my runner up though. a creepy gen 2 imp with eldritch horror lore stemming from corrupt arcane magic? yeah. that's also my vibes. he's the other side of seraphim's coin to me and even though i don't share him as much anymore, he's still a pillar of my lair's aesthetic.

Now that I have hit 5 years on the site, most of my first dragons are all gone or in the process of being replaced by new dragons that fit my aesthetics better...
And even now that is currently changing...
But Aero has withstood the test of time.
He was my first gem purchase. One of my first dragons overall. Obviously before eye vials were a thing. One of my first lvl 25s and my favorite Flight/eyes. And has a look to him that still prevails through how I dress my dragons today. My love of leaving no dragon without an UMA and making colors/genes etc match that usually wouldn't be the first thing people think of, either for their element, genes or distance on the color wheel. I think he also stands out for NOT being a popular/gem breed, nor a G1.
He's also the only one who has lore.
He has also been on the front page featured twice!
And he has the most likes, so I guess people see the effort I poured into him.
So I guess all these tests of endurance feels like a good legacy to me.
