oooo obelisks are adorable! plus itd have the asian dragon theme having both an obelisk and imperial!

I'd say skydancer or nocturne. skydancer emphasizes the green-purple mix the best because the entire inner wing is purple. you'll get mostly skydancers, but that's not necessarily a bad thing? alternately, nocturne has nice purple coverage across the belly and will get you more imps.

I'd say not obelisk (despite being a big obelisk fan in general) because you get hardly any purple and bee doesn't have any good mane effects.

leaning towards obelisk now (tho no-mane-effect is a good point), but i'm also considering a couple nocturne nests to start, then switching over to obe... but i dont want nocturne babies QAQ

I would straight up eat that nocturne or, y'know, save up and buy a noct this pair might produce, the way markings are distributed is straight up gorgeous and the neck frill looks amazing with all the purps and the bee wings.
