Moon Jellies are a clade of Undertides that moved to deeper and shadowier water following their discovery. Moon Jellies are a matriarchal subspecies, and are extremely family oriented, although cautious around strangers. They live in extremely large groups, sometimes numbering over 30, and tend to "adopt" other dragons as well, even those without their typical Jellyfish crest.
Moon Jellies prize circular patterns and pale, cool colors, and will happily decorate themselves to emulate these traits.
More coming eventually!

Aurelia Jellies are the most common type. There are several other variants, but Aurelia Jellies are the most versatile. If you're afraid your Jelly doesn't align to a specific variant, they're probably an Aurelia.
Jellies are accepted on a case by case basis - as long as they have Jellyfish and either a primary or secondary outlined here, they are likely to be accepted.
Colors are slightly more complex, but most shades of pale blue and gray will be generally accepted. Please check out Variants for more info, and feel free to ask questions!

Moon Jellies have several variants, with the most common being the Aurelia clade, but there are so many more!
Olindias, Abyssal Flowers
Olindias are deep-water Jellies, who often have darker coloring and almost reddish coloring, as opposed to the usual pale blues and grays we usually see in Aurelias. They will often have extremely bright accent colors and jelly compared to their main coloring, as seen in colors such as Abyss, Pthalo or even Wine. They are often more solitary than Jellies are generally perceived as, traveling the Tidelord's domain alone or in small groups no larger than four.

@Syrnaxi 's scry for Nuangou is a perfect example.
Some common Olindias genes are genes that darken or desaturate patterns, including but not limited to:
[item=Primary Undertide Gene: Checkers][item=Primary Undertide Gene: Chrysocolla][item=Primary Undertide Gene: Pharaoh][item=Primary Undertide Gene: Pinstripe]
[item=Secondary Undertide Gene: Chess][item=Secondary Undertide Gene: Malachite][item=Secondary Undertide Gene: Sarcophagus][item=Secondary Undertide Gene: Trail]
Very rarely, an Olindias hatchling will have flowers along their body instead of the expected jelly.
[item=Tertiary Undertide Gene: Blossom]
Aequorea, Algae Blooms
Aequorea are future-seers, chosen by the Tidelord. They are reserved but kind, and often burdened by their knowledge. Originally made in the image of Gladekeeper's and Windsinger's respective breeds, they are quick-witted and can sting like no other in a fight. They tend to have bright green or blue coloring, with almost neon jelly.

Cyanea, Shallow Seekers
Cyanea are proud, loyal Jellies who have migrated to shallower, warmer water. They are brighter in color with extremely visible accent colors, and get along well with dragons of every breed, regardless of flight. They are playful and carry the Shadowbinder's love of games, often intentionally seeking out opponents.

Pelagia, Pink Pearls
Pelagia are possibly some of the most social Jellies, having spread across Sornieth from the frosty Southern Icefields to the humid Viridian Labyrinth. Pelagia are most notably recognized for their bright pink accents and jelly, as well as their adaptability.

@doggoddess
hi, looks like both would qualify as general Aurelias, as well as Pelagias! Dazzle could also qualify as an Olindias jelly - but if they're going to be a breeding pair, I imagine they would mostly have Pelagias children. It's your choice!

I would love to register Razzle as a Pelagias and Dazzle as an Olindias.
Posting in here mostly for my own memory since... I might be geneing one from scratch-
I think it'll work as an Aequorea?
