Ahh, Raphaelle is gorgeous and that quote in her tagline is just perfect. ‘Angels show up in the strangest of places’, so fitting for a memorial as well as your story from yesterday in terms of seeing this post and the horse wishing cards <3

I feel that way too, that the essence of those who we lose still lingers in one way or another. I picked Siempre up and scattered her with one scroll into these ocean colors. Then I went for a walk and saw the word ‘Siempre’ carved into the side of a tree. It just seemed so… fitting. <3

She is all teal, which the color for ovarian cancer. I have lost a close family friend and a distant relation (though close when it came to friendship) to ovarian cancer. My mom has it, though it is in "stasis" (complicated) and has had it for ten years. My mom is lucky, most with OC don't make it past five years without a recurrence (iirc, it is 75%, though don't quote me on that).

Used to call him Sir Stubborn sometimes.

His passing hit me very, very hard; this coatl was born a few days before he died and on his last good day, and also has his colors (he was a guinea pig). Take care of yourself in your time of grief. I hope you're doing okay.

Even though I don't really interact with the community anymore, I'll always have this dragon as a token of remembrance.
